Christmas 2013

First of all, I'm sorry I didn't finish the photo challenge... My study is asking a lot of me these days and I can't wait for my thesis to be finished...
Om te beginnen, sorry dat ik de foto challenge niet af heb gemaakt... Mijn studie vraagt erg veel tijd op het moment en ik kan dan ook niet wachten tot m'n thesis is afgerond...

I'm hoping to make it up to you with these christmas pictures I made with my PiP studio tableware :).
Ik hoop dat ik het goed kan maken met deze kerstfoto's met m'n PiP Studio servies ;).

Today's theme is something you are reading currently. Well I'm reading more than one book at the time, but I have chosen this one to show today:
Het thema van vandaag is iets dat je op het moment aan het lezen bent. Zoals gewoonlijk ben ik weer met meerdere boeken tegelijk bezig, maar voor de opdracht heb ik voor deze gekozen:

This is a book from the brand Weleda, which is a bodycare line which uses only natural ingredients. I love the products and the book is about being in harmony with the seasons. Of course this is the winter part :). This book (called 'Living with the seasons' from P.Wessels) gives me the opportunity to just accept the winter, cold and darkness and enjoy the snow :).
Het is een boek van het merk Weleda, die een productlijn voor lichaamsverzorging hebben met alleen natuurlijke ingredienten. Ik vind de producten super en het boek gaat over in harmonie leven met de seizoenen. Dit deel gaat natuurlijk over de winter :). Door dit boek ('Leven met de Seizoenen' van P. Wessels) vind ik het makkelijker om de winter met z'n kou en gebrek aan licht te accepteren en te genieten van de sneeuw :).

It was snowing today here in Holland!!!!! And the theme of today is red.... that sounds already very chrismassy, don't you think? Here it is!
Het sneeuwde vandaag!!!!! En het thema voor vandaag is rood....klinkt als kerst, niet? Hier is ie:

 

Doesn't it look chrismassy to you? I'm still in love with this shoes although I can't wear them that much.
Ziet het er niet kerstig uit? Ik ben nog steeds zo blij met m'n schoentjes, ookal kan ik ze niet zo vaak aan.

And for today the challenge is to make a picture with your favorite holiday movie . So here it is :).
De opdracht voor vandaag is om een foto te maken van je favoriete kerstfilm. Dus hier is is :).

I'm not really a person to watch movies, but it's nice to install yourself on the couch with popcorn and a warm blanket :).

Ik ben niet zo'n filmmens, maar het is wel lekker om jezelf op de bank te nestelen met popcorn en een warme deken :).

I also really like the tv show of Kirstie Allsop: Kirstie's homemade christmas. I really hope they are going to repeat it here in the Netherlands since I can't watch it back at the website :(.
And of course there is Nigella Lawson with her christmas cookbook (and tv show), this really brings the christmas feelings up.

Ik vind de tv serie van Kirstie Allsop ook geweldig (Gezellig thuis met de feestdagen) en ik hoop dat ze die binnenkort weer gaan herhalen want ik kan hem op internet niet meer terugkijken :(.
En natuurlijk Nigella Lawson met haar kerstkookboek (en tv serie), dat brengt ook echt het kerstgevoel naar boven.

As you may know by now, I'm a little bit addicted to Pinterest.... and now I stumbled on this photo challenge... and I decided to accept the challenge!
Misschien is het je wel al opgevallen, ik ben een beetje verslaafd aan pinterest.... en nu kwam ik deze foto challenge tegen...en ik doe mee :).

So my first picture from the list, my view today. Yeah it's raining and yeah it's dark, but it's okay.

Dus hier mijn eerste foto, van mijn uitzicht van vandaag. Ja het is donker en regenachtig, maar 't is okee.

Almost Christmas!!!

It's becoming colder and the days are shortening... that means.... christmas is on it's way!!! I already started some preparations and I found a lot of inspiration on pinterest!
Het wordt kouder en de dagen worden korter... dat betekent... kerst komt eraan!!! Ik ben al begonnen met wat voorbereidingen en ik vond erg veel inspiratie op Pinterest!

So I started this myself and it turned out pretty nice :).

Ik heb ook een paar vogeltjes gekocht voor in de boom en een Ariadne voor wat inspiratie. Ook had ik wat notitieboekjes nodig, en weer in dezelfde kleurcombinatie :). Ik denk dat ik dit gewoon mooi vind op dit moment ;).
